We have some exciting events coming up this year, for all ages. With activities that include Bushcraft and Forest school, campfire cooking, woodland art and craft, nature watching, problem solving and team games.

Find Your Wild Women’s Wednesday

Evening bushcraft

The Dell

Milton Country Park, Cambridge, CB24 6AZ.

6.00– 8.00 pm

Ladies, do you fancy something different for a Wednesday evening?

Get some nature and nurture your creativity.

Learn bushcraft skills.

Explore art in nature through collaborative projects within the group as well as your own creations.

Learn about plants, trees and herbs with guest speakers and group leaders.

Meet like-minded women for themed evening sessions based around bushcraft, art, mindfulness and meditation

and all things nature.

Sessions will be starting on

5th June until 31st July

and resuming on Wednesday 11th September 2019.

There will be regular camps organised throughout the year at various locations with workshops lead by experienced specialists and practitioners.

£15 per session

Family Bushcraft Camps

The serene and beautiful

Abington Woods

Approximately 15 minutes from Cambridge

For ages 10-14 plus one adult

4.30 pm Saturday –9.30 am Sunday

Saturday 6th July – Sunday 7th July

Saturday 13th July –Sunday 14th July

Saturday 20th July -Sunday 21st July

Tuesday 23rd July – Wednesday 24th July

£60 per family of one adult and one child

£20 per additional child

(For health and safety reasons there is a maximum of 3 children per adult)

Children will be given the space and opportunities to explore the tasks independently and adults are welcome to join in.

Our wild adventures will include:

Shelter building

Team building

problem solving games

Knife work

Fire making

Foraging and Camp cooking

(Depending on time and weather)

Any special dietary needs will be catered for.

Kit list:

A tent

Sleeping mats

sleeping bags

Lindsay will be leading the camps with another experienced field teacher and qualified first aider.

Find Your Wild activities are fully risk assessed and carried out under the supervision of qualified level 3 leaders and outdoor first aid trained staff. All staff and volunteers are DBS checked and trained in safeguarding.

Find Your Wild’s Camp Leader, Lindsay Rae has over 30 years of teaching experience and is a qualified art teacher, archery instructor and level 3 forest school leader, she has completed bushcraft competency and lowland leader training.
